Happy Labor Day, to North Bloomfield!
September 3, 1973
6:15 am, an explosion, and fire rip through the Colonial Tavern, spreading to
O'Neils Service Station. Certainly, one of the greatest losses we've ever experienced.
Special Thanks to Marty Gargas, who provided all the explosion photos for this page. The photos and the poem, were put together by Marty, for a school project, which Mr. Romack gave him an "A" on!
Thanks again Marty, for letting everyone remember this great loss in our Community.
I hope to put together more of these pages in the very near future
